Kivides Youth Club was founded in 1976 on the initiative of the Welfare Council of Kybidon. The name given to it is in memory of the hero of the community Odysseus Kleanthus. The Youth Centre acquired its own building in 1985 which was built with state sponsorship and voluntary work of its members.

The Youth Club expresses the cultural and sporting activities of the young people of the Community and has a sports, music, scientific, dance and theatre club with a long history. The various clubs have participated and continue to be active in various events in the Community and the Limassol district.

The purpose of the establishment and operation of the Youth Club is the activation of creative employment and healthy recreation of young people during their free time, the cooperation with all organized bodies of the Community and other Youth Club’s, youth organizations at provincial and national level.
