Participants worked on participatory design, advocacy, intersectionality and inclusive community planning, and came away with practical tools for helping young people identify their community\u2019s needs and have a say in the decisions that affect their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Youth-ID (\u201cBuilding Youth Capacities on Inclusive Community Design through Participatory and Intersectional Training\u201d) is an Erasmus+ project in which KOKEN is a partner. Across Europe, few young people take part in decision-making, and the numbers are lower still among those who are marginalised or underrepresented. Many of them face barriers to being heard. The project goes beyond traditional consultation and puts young people at the centre of shaping their communities.
