NEWSLETTER. The SISY partnership has been hard at work!
The SISY partnership has been hard at work! In November, the partners met in the wonderful city of Naples, in Italy, hosted by our great partners at Project Ahead. The meeting covered all of our upcoming activities, as well as the finalisation of our training modules for the SISY MOOC in our Digital learning hub, and the finalisation of initial recruitment for the Community of Practice.
What’s new with us?
The SISY partnership has been hard at work! In November, the partners met in the wonderful city of Naples, in Italy, hosted by our great partners at Project Ahead. The meeting covered all of our upcoming activities, as well as the finalisation of our training modules for the SISY MOOC in our Digital learning hub, and the finalisation of initial recruitment for the Community of Practice.
Partners also discussed the planning for implementing our Inclusive Sports Tournaments across Europe, involving young people with learning differences and experts to provide a safe space for learning, collaboration and participation.
The progress so far
With the project’s platform taking shape, and the Community of Practice’s initial recruitment phase finalised, the team are working to promote the project and develop the project’s cutting-edge Inclusive MOOC, a tool which will help not only our CoP members, but also youth workers and trainers in understanding inclusive participation and sports.
In addition to the work being done on the project’s outputs, partners are actively involved in outreach to further expand the Community and gather participants for our Inclusive Sports Tournaments. If you would like to be involved, contact the team through our social media and let us know!
What’s next?
The project team is hard at work, and one more thing is needed: Share and spread the word for SISY! The contents we’re making will help many young people and youth workers in their inclusive sports journey and in developing their soft skills, and by spreading the word, you can help us reach even more!
Don’t forget to follow the project’s social media for important news and updates on all results and events!
