SIGNING OF A COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN IDEP and KOKEN

The Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP) signed on Monday 29 September 2025 a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Cyprus Youth Clubs Organisation (KOKEN), further strengthening its cooperation with social partners active in related fields.

The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Professor Petros Pasiardis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lifelong Learning Institute and Mr. Kyriakos Tsioupanis, Chairman of the Council of KOKEN in the presence of Dr. Stylianos Mavromoustakos, Director of the Institute and Mr. Nicolas Nicolaides, Executive Director of KOKEN.

Through the Memorandum, the two parties lay the foundations for a solid cooperation that promotes the values of active participation, the development of young people’s skills and the promotion of the priorities of the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus in the fields of youth and lifelong learning.

At the same time, it is foreseen to develop joint actions to upgrade the organisational and operational capacities of Youth Clubs including those located in remote areas, and to ensure equal access to opportunities for young people.
