Empowering skills for personal and professional development – “Arts for Soft Skills” Awareness Campaign

The “Arts for Soft Skills” campaign aims to raise awareness about the use of arts in the development of soft skills among young people.

Soft skills are vital for employment, retention and progression in one’s career. They are transferable to all employment opportunities and are beneficial to individuals in all aspects of life and allow individuals to live independently and productively within a society.

The campaign includes basic skills and how they are developed through the art of photography, painting and dance.

More specifically, the proposed project activities, practically strengthen skills such as communication skills, leadership skills, teamwork skills, problem solving, critical thinking, time management, empathy, sense of responsibility, integrity, self-esteem, self-management, flexibility, sociability and decision-making skills.

The skills as well as the empowerment activities through non-formal learning , can be found in the manual ”Arts for skillyouth” which has been developed within the project and which can be found here Arts for Soft Skills
