Youth Centres have always embraced and accommodated young people. As active citizens, our young people have the right through simple and easy procedures to volunteer, express their views and participate actively, dynamically and critically in society.

As volunteers, young people work in the general interest, with a creative spirit and without any personal gain. They contribute to the protection of fundamental rights and the strengthening of democratic life.

If you wish to be an ally in the effort, create a new Youth Centre with your team!

“Youth Centre” is defined and means the independent non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan, non-profit voluntary organisation/youth group created by/and in which at least ten young people can participate, irrespective of their origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic and/or educational background and which have a community and/or special character and are registered in the register of members of the Cyprus Youth Centres Organisation.

The main requirement is that the individuals in the group are interested in contributing to the development of young people and society, are willing to volunteer, have a vision to develop and empower as many young people as possible through improving their quality of life.
